Northern Corridor Transit and Transport Coordination Authority proceeded to the delivery of a Toyota 4X4 vehicle to the Provincial Directorate of the Roads Office in North Kivu.

According to the Executive Secretary of Northern Corridor Transit and Transport Coordination Authority OMAE NYARANDI, this vehicle will be able to allow mobility to the Roads Office by reaching especially advanced dilapidated areas.

Addressing the representative of the Director General of the Roads Office at this activity, Mr NTABALA KAPELA Christian thanked the : Northern Corridor Transit and Transport Coordination Authority for this commendable gesture and asked the Roads Office to keep this machine as a good father and make good use of it.

The ceremony of official delivery of this machine took place this Thursday, August 03, 2023 in the grounds of the Office of Roads in Goma in the municipality of Karisimbi in the presence of the Provincial Director of the Office of Roads in the NorthKivu the engineer MINGA MALENGA Papy and the agents of this public institution.

After the ceremony of delivery of this vehicle, followed the training of the engineers of the Road Office of the province of North and South Kivu on the use of the Roughometer 4, equipment that will be mounted on the vehicle for the collection of International Roughness Index (IRI) data to anticipate maintenance and road safety issues.

This equipment was handed over to the Provincial Director of the Roads Office on this same occasion. Note that this training will last 3 days and is held at the Serena Hotel in the volcanic city of Goma
